Renewal In Christ Ministries: The RICM Family

Father Gary and Judith Dalmasso founded RICM in 1986. Father Gary, director of RICM, was ordained a priest in 1967. He planted St. Mark's Episcopal Church in East Moline/Silvis, IL and served his first eight years of ministry there. Since 1976, he and Judith have been actively involved in Charismatic Renewal in the Church. They have four grown children and nine grandchildren. They both work full time in this faith ministry, leading many Renewal Weekends and conferences worldwide. Judith is the full time administrator of RICM. She hopes to receive her Masters of Theological Studies from Nashotah House in May of 2006. In 1996, Bishop Keith Ackerman honored Father Gary by designating him Canon Evangelist of the Diocese of Quincy.

Kathleen Thomerson is one of RICM's music leaders. She received music degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, with additional organ study in France and Belgium. Kathleen is a Fellow of the American Guild of Organists. She and her husband, Jim, live in Austin, TX where Jim is enjoying his retirement and Kathleen enjoying her work as an organist at a Lutheran Church. Kathleen is well known for the hymn "I Want to Walk as a Child of the Light", printed in a number of denominational hymnals. The Lord continues to use Kathleen and her gift of music to bless RICM.

Matt Everett, a graduate of Sam Houston University with a Bachelors degree in Music and a Masters in Piano Performance from the University of Houston, has been leading worship for ten years. RICM first met Matt when he was the worship leader at the Church of the Redeemer in Houston, TX where Kathleen once worshipped. He presently is the worship leader for a Lutheran church in Houston, TX.  RICM is blessed to have Matt as part of our team. He is truly gifted in voice and keyboard. He brings us to new heights of worship.
The Rev. Ronald Drummond, a graduate from Nashota House in May of 2004 and an ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church in June of 04 is also one of RICM's music leaders. Father Drummond came to RICM when he was a junior in High School and he has been part of this ministry ever since. His vocal and instrumental talents combined with a great sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit yields times of high praise and deep worship. He is also one of our gifted teachers and speakers.  Father Drummond and his wife, Sarah, have a daughter named Morgan and a son named Benjamin.
Skip and Cindy Clarquist are once again helping lead worship and praise at RICM. They were the full-time worship leaders for RICM from its beginning in 1986 until the end of 1995. They are the founders and directors of A Place of Springs Ministry. APOS is a ministry of revival, healing, worship, and evangelization. Skip and Cindy have over 20 years of experience as worship leaders. They are worship leaders of a Quad Cities Roman Catholic Church.  They have held several positions of leadership in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peoria.

Linda Sandberg is our new addition as one of RICM's music leaders. She has always been gifted in voice, but several years ago she worked very hard at learning to play the keyboard and to lead worship. She is the worship leader at Christ Methodist Church in Port Jefferson Station, NY. Her husband Jon, who often accompanies her on guitar, and she live in Long Island, NY. RICM is happy to have her with us.

Alvin Spencer has been part of RICM since its conception. He is a man of steadfast faithfulness, integrity, and strength. Recently retired as a mechanical engineer for Deere and Company, he and his wife, Brenda, are turning Alvin's hobby of video taping into a full time business. Alvin is a long time friend of Father Gary's and is a primary counsel in the decision making process of RICM as well as an essential intercessor of the ministry. Alvin and Brenda have twin sons.
David Lattan is RICM's McGyver, a man of many talents. On any given weekend, David can be seen as a teacher, a leader, and, a prayer minister. He is also a whiz on the computer, often solving problems and finding lost data for the ministry. He is a valued and trusted friend, a confidante to Father Gary. David is a Vice President of Prairie Farms Dairy in Southern Illinois. He has two sons, Ted and Paul. The whole Lattan family have been active in this ministry.
Greg Rannazzisi, is currently pursuing his seminary studies for the priesthood at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy.  While there he attends the Pontifical Gregorian University.  Greg graduate in May, 2005 from Fordham University, Bronx, NY with a degree in Philosophy and Theology.  He is one of our many gifted speakers on our Renewal Weekends. He came to RICM as a junior in high school and we have watched him grow in the Lord. Not only does Greg assist with the teaching and coordinating on a given weekend, he is also willing to do the more mundane tasks on a weekend like setting up, rearranging the room, and many other such duties.  While he will not be around on weekends for the next few years, we will enjoy hearing from him while he’s in Europe and look forward to his return.

Andrew Petta will continue pursuing his seminary studies at Nashotah House in Wisconsin.  Andrew came to RICM while a senior in High School and traveled with the ministry trough his college days.  He continues in his process of discerning his call to the priesthood.  His mother and father are part RICM's anchor system in Texas.

There are many others who volunteer their time and talents to this ministry. In each locale where one of our Renewal Weekends is held we have a core group of committed brothers and sisters. Without them and their active support, we would not be. For all of these faithful friends and servants, we at RICM are most thankful.
